Greetings from the USA

Postby Steve G » Sat Feb 10, 2018 6:52 pm

Hello all!

Thank you for allowing me to join the forum! I have been lurking for a little over a year now and decided to take the plunge to join.

I have always enjoyed working in metal. For years I have been an off and on blacksmith and jeweler on my days off work. More recently I have been getting set up for some Japanese style work. I have not done much, but I am really looking forward to getting stuck in. My goal is to eventually make new fittings for an old Nihonto that I have. I will be making some new blades to practice fitting until I feel confident enough to do the real thing justice.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I hope to continue to learn much more as time goes on.
