Pete Klein, over on the NMB, is selling a copy of the BMFA catalogue ( the original, big one) for $400
This is a very worthwhile purchase and a good price for a book that is not frequently available.

Out of my price range, really, Ford, and I've yet to succeed with persuading my husband into a stopover in Boston on the way to California. BMFA has many fine pieces I'd like to see in the flesh, not just netsuke. Among them is a small Archaic Greek Hermes carrying a ram - the original Good Shepherd, I think. One day...
