Hi, 23, Canadian, non frenchspeaking blacksmith.
I am currently searching for work, with fungi, or metal.
I have one year of forging behind me and a few years painter in oil.
Six years I did custodial work for my local arena, stage theatre, and fire hall.
Time is enough to tell me I want more from life so grow hand skills and craft.
Thanks for having me wish me luck at the farmers market tomorrow.

So James...
Your unorthodox introduction makes me feel like you'll fit right in!
As a non French speaking American, we share much in common, so we're off to very good start! At least the non French speaking part anyway!
You'll find almost everything you will need to excel in the arts on this forum; all you need to do is read, digest, ruminate, and read some more. Many of my comments are referencing must read posts. You would do well to look up this post: Basic Tsuba Project No:1 Basic Tsuba Project No:1, and read all 37 pages. There is much there relating to Tsuba making specifically, but also any artistic endeavor.
Well, welcome to the board, I hope you'll be a frequent contributor!
