hello from the balkans

Postby Mile L » Sun May 29, 2016 1:09 pm

hey guys and gals,

I am Mile and live in Croatia.
some time ago I found out all I want to do is carve and sculpt. it grew stronger with the netsuke photos I stumbled upon while trying to find out how to create dimples in wood (found out it is called ukibori).
metals slowly crept into my mind. textures and patterns :sneaky2:
nowadays I mostly build knives using blades I order from blacksmiths (planning to start forging and grinding myself, soon) and try to fuse function with art. I love organic structures.
well, here are some of the knives / netsuke I made.
I am glad to be here.

Mile, welcome! I like your wooden knife handle designs, I'm guessing they also feel good in the hand.
