Howdy from Texas

Postby Travis » Sun Feb 14, 2016 11:34 pm

Hello to all. My name is Travis Caton and I am a born and raised Texan. I am new to the forum. I have been an avid bladesmith for over 15 years now. I am presently working full time as a welder and metal fabricator building and restoring classic cars and hot rods. I am a former Military Contractor and Law Enforcement Officer that has decided to get back in touch on a much heavier basis with his artistic side. My thirst for learning and creating has brought me here where I hope to meet other like minded artists and push my craft to a higher level. My main interests are with tsuba and fittings, copper castings, and delving deeper into the science and techniques of producing tamahagane. Thanks to all.
