Greetings from Tasmania :D

Hello all! My name is George Johnston, I live on the (boondock) southern island of Australia :hehe: I have been a hobbyist Bladesmith for a few years and have recently found myself wanting (needing) more skills on the decorative metalworking side of things.
I love the Japanese aesthetic, and finding a group with a serious handle on the traditional techniques is fantastic. Anyway, with my steelwork coming to a nice level, but my metal casting/carving woefully inadequate i'll likely be asking a question or two while i watch and learn!

Cheers for reading!

Welcome George,

This is the spot.

I have found a generous group of people and learned a lot.

Have fun.
